About This Initiative

Winston-Salem anchors North Carolina's Piedmont Triad — the seat of Forsyth County and one of the state's largest cities. Its military and Veteran community is served by the Kernersville VA Health Care Center and the Winston-Salem Vet Center under the Salisbury VA Health Care System, the North Carolina Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, and active American Legion and VFW posts across Forsyth, Stokes, and Davidson counties.
