Wilmington is Delaware's largest city and the center of the state's Veteran services. The Wilmington VA Medical Center on Kirkwood Highway provides health care for Veterans across Delaware and parts of southern New Jersey and the Eastern Shore, the Wilmington Vet Center on Centerville Road offers counseling and readjustment support, and the VA Regional Benefit Office handles claims for the state. American Legion and VFW posts across New Castle County round out a compact, well-connected Veteran community.
