Waycross is the seat of Ware County and the service hub for southeast Georgia's Veteran community. The Waycross VA Clinic, a community based outpatient clinic of the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center in Dublin, provides primary and mental health care without a trip up the interstate. The Ware County Veterans Service Office files VA claims at no charge, WorkSource Georgia runs job and resource fairs at the C.C. McCray City Auditorium, and American Legion and VFW posts across Ware, Pierce, and Brantley counties keep a steady calendar of community events.
This site is provided by Di Nola Consulting to assist Military Service Members, Veterans, and Military Spouses in discovering events, resources, opportunities, and their community throughout Waycross and southeast Georgia.
Whether you're transitioning out of service, looking for career opportunities, seeking health and wellness support, or simply want to connect with your community, you'll find it here.
