Weekly Virtual Talking Circle for Women Veterans — Televeda Hero's Story Project

Flyer for Weekly Virtual Talking Circle for Women Veterans — Televeda Hero's Story Project
A free weekly peer support Talking Circle built for women Veterans, part of Televeda's Hero's Story Project. Peers, not clinicians, lead the group; participants set the pace and share only what feels right. The circle is designed around women Veterans' own experiences, including survivors of military sexual trauma, rather than a combat narrative that may not reflect their service. Who is welcome: any woman Veteran seeking peer connection with people who understand her experiences. It is held entirely online, so there is no travel and no need to arrange child care around a clinic visit, and participants who want help applying for VA benefits or enrolling in VA health care can ask a facilitator to walk them through it. The circle meets on Tuesdays, but the two published sources disagree on the hour: VA News states every Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. Arizona time, while the Veterans Healthy Minds Advisory Council South Texas calendar lists it at 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Central. Confirm the start time when you reserve your spot, or call Televeda at 833-299-1449. Reserve a spot free through the Hero's Story Project class schedule.
