Valdosta is South Georgia's largest city and the civilian home of Moody Air Force Base, ten miles northeast of downtown - host to the 23d Wing and its A-10C Thunderbolt IIs, the 71st Rescue Squadron, and the 347th Rescue Group. The area is served by the Valdosta VA Clinic, the Georgia Department of Veterans Service field office, WorkSource Georgia, and active VFW and American Legion posts across Lowndes County and the surrounding South Georgia counties.
This site is provided by Di Nola Consulting to assist Military Service Members, Veterans, and Military Spouses in discovering events, resources, opportunities, and their community throughout Valdosta, Moody Air Force Base, and South Georgia.
Whether you're transitioning out of service, looking for career opportunities, seeking health and wellness support, or simply want to connect with your community, you'll find it here.
