Advance Directives Group Information Class

James A. Haley Veterans Hospital & Clinics holds an Advance Directives Group Information Class on the first Thursday of each month, 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., in person at your assigned CBOC. Main topics: guidance on necessary conversations and documentation related to end-of-life health care, and completing advance directives, with a complete copy placed on file in your chart. In this class you will learn who would make your final health care decisions if you could not do so and whether they know what you want, what an advance directive is, the difference between a living will and a health care power of attorney, and whether you really need an advance directive.
