Socorro sits on the Rio Grande at the northern end of the Jornada del Muerto, the seat of Socorro County and the home of the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology. The San Miguel Mission on the plaza dates to the seventeenth century. Veterans here gather at the Forget Me Not Veterans Center on North California Street, which is also where the New Mexico Department of Veterans' Services parks its Mobile Outreach Vehicle when a Veteran Service Officer comes through.
This site is provided by Di Nola Consulting to assist Military Service Members, Veterans, and Military Spouses in discovering events, resources, opportunities, and their community throughout Socorro, Magdalena and Socorro County.
Whether you're transitioning out of service, looking for career opportunities, seeking health and wellness support, or simply want to connect with your community, you'll find it here.
