Submit Your EventSchriever Space Force Base lies about ten miles east of Colorado Springs on the plains near Falcon. It is the home of the 2nd Space Operations Squadron, which flies the GPS constellation, along with Space Delta 6, Space Delta 8, and the National Space Defense Center. Like Peterson, it falls under Space Base Delta 1. Schriever is a closed base with no on-base housing, so its published calendar is short — the Schriever Event Center, the Military & Family Readiness Center, and the weekday food truck rotation. Base access rules apply and most events need a DoD ID or a sponsor. Events in Colorado Springs itself are listed under the Colorado Springs hub.
