Savannah is Georgia's oldest city and the heart of the Coastal Empire's Veteran community. The city is home to Hunter Army Airfield — the Army's longest runway and an aviation hub supporting the 3rd Infantry Division (the "Marne Division") at Fort Stewart just south. Veterans across Chatham County are served by the Savannah VA CBOC (Charleston VA Health Care System), the Georgia Department of Veterans Service, and the Chatham County Veterans Council. The National Museum of the Mighty Eighth Air Force in Pooler honors WWII aviators, and active VFW and American Legion posts serve Veterans across the Coastal Empire and Lowcountry region.
This site is provided by Di Nola Consulting to assist Military Service Members, Veterans, and Military Spouses in discovering events, resources, opportunities, and their community throughout Savannah and the Coastal Empire.
Whether you're transitioning out of service, looking for career opportunities, seeking health and wellness support, or simply want to connect with your community, you'll find it here.
