About This Initiative

Rapid City is the gateway to the Black Hills and the heart of western South Dakota's military and Veteran community. The region is home to Ellsworth Air Force Base in nearby Box Elder, VA Black Hills Health Care with campuses at Fort Meade and Hot Springs, the Michael J. Fitzmaurice State Veterans Home in Hot Springs, the South Dakota Department of Veterans Affairs, and active VFW and American Legion posts across the Black Hills.

This site is provided by Di Nola Consulting to assist Military Service Members, Veterans, and Military Spouses in discovering events, resources, opportunities, and their community throughout Rapid City and across South Dakota.

Whether you're transitioning out of service, looking for career opportunities, seeking health and wellness support, or simply want to connect with your community, you'll find it here.
