The Illinois Veterans Home at Quincy opened in 1886 and is the oldest and largest of the state’s Veterans homes. Quincy National Cemetery is here as well, and the Quincy VA Clinic serves west-central Illinois and the Mississippi River counties across into Iowa and Missouri.
