Tennessee Pass Backcountry/Cookhouse Trip

Enjoy a winter adventure with a delicious reward at the Tennessee Pass Cookhouse in Leadville, Colorado. Choose to snowshoe, hike, or cross-country ski approximately 1 mile from the Nordic Center parking lot through scenic winter terrain, gaining about 300 feet of elevation along the way. Once we arrive at the cozy cookhouse, we’ll enjoy lunch before making the return trip. Cost: $75/person. Includes transportation, lunch, and snowshoes or cross-country skis (if needed) . Date: Saturday, March 27 Time: 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Location: Tennessee Pass Cookhouse, Leadville, Colorado. Participants will meet at and depart from Outdoor Recreation, Bldg. 640. Sign-up deadline: By 12 p.m. on Monday, March 22, 2027. Cancellation deadline: By 5 p.m. on Monday, March 15, 2027.
