Peru, Illinois is the gateway to the Illinois Valley and seat of a strong LaSalle County Veteran community. The city is home to the LaSalle VA Clinic — a Community-Based Outpatient Clinic of the Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital (VISN 12) — offering primary care and specialty health services to Veterans across LaSalle County and the surrounding Illinois Valley region.
LaSalle County Veterans Assistance Commission provides comprehensive support services, and local American Legion and VFW posts bring together Veterans from Peru, LaSalle, Ottawa, Streator, and the broader Illinois Valley community.
This site is provided by Di Nola Consulting to assist Military Service Members, Veterans, and Military Spouses in discovering events, resources, opportunities, and their community throughout Peru and LaSalle County.
