Healing Threads Fiber Arts Circle — Whidbey Island (1st Thursday)

Healing Threads is a free, staff-facilitated fiber arts program of NineLine Veteran Services — a welcoming place for military-connected people to create, learn and connect at their own pace, with no pressure to share personal experiences. The Whidbey Island gathering meets the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month, 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., at Island Church on Whidbey Island; this listing covers the 1st Thursday. Expect guided crochet and other creative projects, beginner instruction, pattern help and technique support, time for your own project or collaborative work, and optional conversation and peer skill-sharing. Welcome: Active-duty Service Members, National Guard and Reserve members, Veterans from every branch and service era, military and Veteran family members, and caretakers of military-connected individuals. No art experience is required; materials and instruction are provided. Schedules may change around holidays; contact program lead Felicia “Fee” Konkler before your first visit at 360-819-8286 or FKonkler@9linevets.org.
