Submit Your EventNewton serves as the county seat of Sussex County, New Jersey, home to a dedicated veteran community supported by the Sussex County Veterans Service Bureau, active American Legion and VFW posts, and the Valor Clinic Foundation, which provides peer-to-peer support groups for veterans and first responders across northern New Jersey. Veterans in the region also have access to the Lyons VA Medical Center and VA outpatient clinics serving Sussex, Morris, and Warren counties.
