Submit Your EventNaval Base San Diego — still widely called 32nd Street — is the largest surface-ship homeport in the Pacific Fleet, berthing dozens of destroyers, amphibious ships, and littoral combat ships along San Diego Bay. Events listed here take place on base: the Fleet & Family Support Center, Anchors Catering & Conference Center, Admiral Prout Field, and the MWR fitness and recreation facilities. Base access rules apply — most of these need a DoD ID, and some are explicitly limited to cardholders and their guests. Events elsewhere in San Diego, including the MCAS Miramar Air Show, are listed under the San Diego hub.
