Submit Your EventItaly hosts one of the largest U.S. military communities in Europe — anchored by Aviano Air Base (31st Fighter Wing) in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, U.S. Army Garrison Italy at Caserma Ederle and Caserma Del Din in Vicenza together with Camp Darby near Livorno, Naval Support Activity Naples in Campania, and Naval Air Station Sigonella in Sicily. These communities are served by Army Community Service, Fleet and Family Support Centers, and Military & Family Readiness Centers, by on-base transition assistance (SFL-TAP and Navy TAP) and SkillBridge offices, and by the VFW and American Legion Departments of Europe.
