American Legion Post 53 on North Ramona Street and the VFW posts across Hemet and San Jacinto anchor the community, with Riverside County Department of Veterans' Services and the Loma Linda VA's Palm Desert and Corona clinics serving the wider valley. The Ramona Bowl Amphitheatre above town has hosted the community since 1923.
