Georgetown is the third-oldest city in South Carolina, a working port on Winyah Bay midway between Charleston and Myrtle Beach. Veterans in Georgetown County are served by county Veteran affairs and by the Ralph H. Johnson VA Health Care System in Charleston, whose outreach and clinic programming reaches up the coast.
