Its 1862 Civil War armory still stands on Main Street, and its Veteran community centers on Growlersburg VFW Post 9241 — a hall on Main Street, a park and campground on Veterans Way, and a monthly food bank that serves families across the Divide. Georgetown’s Founder’s Day parade, Fall Fest, and Veterans Day observances draw the whole Divide into town.
