Galveston is a barrier-island city on the Texas Gulf Coast with a long military history — Fort Crockett guarded the approach to Galveston Bay through both World Wars, and the island is still home to U.S. Coast Guard Base Galveston, part of Sector Houston-Galveston. Service Members, Veterans, and Military Spouses across Galveston County are served by the Galveston VA Clinic, the county Veteran Services Office in Texas City, and a network of VFW and American Legion posts on the island and up the mainland through Dickinson, La Marque, Texas City, and League City.
This site is provided by Di Nola Consulting to assist Military Service Members, Veterans, and Military Spouses in discovering events, resources, opportunities, and their community throughout Galveston, Galveston County, and the upper Texas Gulf Coast.
Whether you're transitioning out of service, looking for career opportunities, seeking health and wellness support, or simply want to connect with your community, you'll find it here.
