Submit Your EventFort Myer is a historic U.S. Army post in Arlington — now part of Joint Base Myer–Henderson Hall, adjacent to Arlington National Cemetery and home to the 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) and the U.S. Army Band. It is the birthplace of military aviation, where the Wright brothers demonstrated the first military airplane in 1908.
