Fort George G. Meade is the Army's second-largest installation by population, with more than 64,000 employees representing every service branch and over 120 partner agencies — among them the National Security Agency, U.S. Cyber Command, the Defense Information Systems Agency, and the Defense Information School. The post anchors a military community that stretches through Odenton, Severn, Laurel, Crownsville, and the rest of Anne Arundel County, served by Army Community Service, the Fort Meade USO, Kimbrough Ambulatory Care Center, and a deep bench of local VSO posts.
