The city is home to Northern Arizona University — with NAU Veteran and Military Services supporting student-Veterans — the Flagstaff VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic (Northern Arizona VA Healthcare System), and Coconino County Veterans Services. Camp Navajo, the Arizona Army National Guard training installation, is located just west in Bellemont. Active VFW and American Legion posts serve Veterans across Flagstaff, Sedona, Williams, and the Colorado Plateau region.
