About This Initiative

Columbus, Kansas is the seat of Cherokee County in the far southeast corner of the state, at the edge of the old Tri-State mining district. Its Veteran community gathers at the American Legion and VFW posts on East Country Road, and is served by the Kansas Commission on Veterans Affairs and the VA clinics in Parsons and Chanute under the Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center in Wichita.

This site is provided by Di Nola Consulting to assist Military Service Members, Veterans, and Military Spouses in discovering events, resources, opportunities, and their community throughout Columbus, Cherokee County, and southeast Kansas.

Whether you're transitioning out of service, looking for career opportunities, seeking health and wellness support, or simply want to connect with your community, you'll find it here.
