Submit Your EventChesapeake is one of the seven cities of Hampton Roads, a region carrying one of the highest concentrations of Service Members, Veterans, and military families anywhere in the country. Veterans here have three Hampton VA outpatient clinics inside the city limits — the North Battlefield VA Clinic on Knells Ridge Boulevard, the Western Branch VA Clinic off Chesapeake Square Ring Road, and the Chesapeake VA Clinic — alongside Chesapeake Integrated Behavioral Healthcare, which runs the city's own military and Veteran programming. Naval Station Norfolk, NAS Oceana, and Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek–Fort Story are all a short drive away, so a great many families live in Chesapeake and serve somewhere else in the region.
