Champaign and neighbouring Urbana form the largest community in east-central Illinois, and the two cities share one of the strongest campus Veteran communities in the state. The Chez Veterans Center at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign supports student Veterans and Military Families through education, transition services, and research, and the Urbana National Guard Armory on East University Avenue is a regular venue for county and statewide Veteran events.
Service Members, Veterans, Military Spouses, and Military Families across Champaign County are served by the Champaign County Veterans Assistance Commission, by the Illinois Department of Veterans' Affairs, and by VA Illiana Health Care System, headquartered in Danville about 35 miles east.
This site is provided by Di Nola Consulting to assist Military Service Members, Veterans, and Military Spouses in discovering events, resources, opportunities, and their community throughout Champaign, Urbana, and east-central Illinois.
Whether you're transitioning out of service, looking for career opportunities, seeking health and wellness support, or simply want to connect with your community, you'll find it here.
