Cedar City sits at the foot of the Markagunt Plateau in Iron County, southern Utah — home to American Legion Post 74, its Auxiliary Unit 74 and Sons of The American Legion Squadron 74, along with Marine Corps League Detachment 1315. The area's Veteran community is served by the Cedar City VA Clinic under the VA Salt Lake City Health Care System, the Utah Department of Veterans and Military Affairs, and Southern Utah University's Veterans Resource Center.
