Catskill is the Greene County seat in New York's Hudson Valley — a regular site of VA Homeless Veteran Stand Down events serving Veterans across the Catskills region. Local Veterans are connected to the Greene County Veterans Service Agency, the VA Hudson Valley Health Care System (Castle Point and Montrose campuses), the New York State Division of Veterans' Services, and active VFW and American Legion posts throughout Greene, Columbia, and Ulster counties.
