Cape Girardeau is the hub of southeast Missouri, and its Veteran community reaches well past the city limits. The Cape Girardeau VA Health Care Center on South Mount Auburn Road brings primary care, mental health care, and specialty clinics to Veterans who would otherwise drive to St. Louis, and the county Veterans Service Office, the local VFW and American Legion posts, and Southeast Missouri State University's Veteran services round out the support available here. Events on this page cover the city, the surrounding counties, and the wider Bootheel.
