Baton Rouge, Louisiana — the state capital on the Mississippi River — is home to the Louisiana Department of Veterans Affairs and a major Baton Rouge VA Outpatient Clinic within the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System. Louisiana National Guard units and active VFW and American Legion posts serve the Capital Region's Veteran community.
