Barstow sits at the crossroads of the Mojave Desert, where Historic Route 66, Interstate 15, and Interstate 40 meet. It anchors one of the most heavily military-connected corners of California: Fort Irwin and the U.S. Army's National Training Center lie about 37 miles to the northeast, Marine Corps Logistics Base Barstow sits on the city's eastern edge, and Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms and Edwards Air Force Base are within a few hours' drive. Between the NTC rotations, the Barstow Vet Center, and a High Desert community that turns out for its Soldiers, Marines, and Veterans, there is nearly always something on.
This site is provided by Di Nola Consulting to assist Military Service Members, Veterans, and Military Spouses in discovering events, resources, opportunities, and their community throughout Barstow, Fort Irwin, and the High Desert.
Whether you're transitioning out of service, looking for career opportunities, seeking health and wellness support, or simply want to connect with your community, you'll find it here.
