About This Initiative

Athens is the seat of McMinn County in southeast Tennessee, between Chattanooga and Knoxville. Its Veterans and families are served by the McMinn County Veterans Service Office and the VA Tennessee Valley Healthcare System, with active VFW and American Legion posts across the county.
