About This Initiative

Andover is a historic Essex County town in the Merrimack Valley, home of Run for the Troops — the annual 5K and community events supporting Homes For Our Troops. The town is served by its own Veterans Services office, the Massachusetts Executive Office of Veterans Services, and the Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial Veterans' Hospital in nearby Bedford, with active VFW and American Legion posts across the Merrimack Valley.
