Submit Your EventStroudsburg is the county seat of Monroe County in Pennsylvania's Pocono Mountain region, home to a growing veteran community supported by the Monroe County Veterans Affairs Office, local American Legion and VFW posts, and the Valor Clinic Foundation, which provides peer-to-peer support, outdoor therapeutic programs, and wellness services for veterans and first responders across the Pocono Mountains. Veterans also have access to the Wilkes-Barre VA Medical Center and Tobyhanna Army Depot, one of the largest Army maintenance facilities in the eastern United States.
