Santa Barbara County Veterans Services helps Veterans and survivors file VA claims, the Santa Barbara Vet Center provides readjustment counseling, and posts of the American Legion, VFW and Elks run programming from Goleta to Carpinteria. Vandenberg Space Force Base and Naval Base Ventura County both draw Service Members through the area, and VA Greater Los Angeles brings clinics and outreach events up the coast.
