The area is served by the Lubbock VA Clinic (part of the West Texas VA Health Care System), the former Reese Air Force Base — now the Reese Technology Center — and Texas Tech University's Military & Veterans Programs. The Texas Veterans Commission, the Lubbock Vet Center, the Lubbock County Veterans Service Office, and active VFW and American Legion posts serve Veterans across Lubbock County and the broader South Plains.
