The region is served by the Allentown VA Outpatient Clinic, a community clinic of the Wilkes-Barre VA Medical Center, along with the Lehigh County Office of Veterans Affairs, the Northampton County Department of Veterans Affairs, and Pennsylvania Army National Guard units at the Allentown and Bethlehem armories, with active VFW and American Legion posts throughout the valley.
