The city is home to the Michigan National Guard Joint Force Headquarters and the Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency (MVAA), with VA care provided locally through the Lansing CBOC of the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System and regionally by the Battle Creek VA Medical Center. The Lansing Vet Center and active VFW and American Legion posts serve Veterans across Ingham, Eaton, and Clinton counties and the greater Lansing-East Lansing metro.
