Island Veterans are served by the Hawaii Office of Veterans' Services (OVS) Hilo office, the VA Hilo and Kona Community-Based Outpatient Clinics, and the Spark M. Matsunaga VA system, along with active VFW, American Legion, DAV, and other Veteran Service Organization posts across the island.
