Submit Your EventNaval Air Station Whiting Field sits outside Milton in Santa Rosa County, about 25 miles northeast of Pensacola, and is where most Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard aviators do their primary fixed-wing and all of their helicopter training — one of the busiest air traffic operations in the world. Events listed here take place on base, so base access rules apply and most need a DoD ID, a sponsor, or a visitor pass. Events in Pensacola, Milton and along the Emerald Coast are listed under the Pensacola hub.
