If you have an event for Veterans, Service Members, or Military Family Members, let us help you get the word out to the community.
Submit Your EventMoses Lake grew up around Larson Air Force Base, which closed in 1966 and became the Grant County International Airport — still one of the longest runways in the country. Grant County Veterans Services at 1008 W Ivy Ave is the front door for Veterans across the Columbia Basin: Veteran Service Officers accredited by the Washington State Department of Veterans Affairs file VA disability, health, and burial claims, and behavioral health therapy is available on site. The county also runs a Veterans Assistance Fund for emergency help with rent, utilities, food, and burial — that fund is means-tested at 180% of the federal poverty level and requires 90 days’ residency in Grant County, so check those two limits before counting on it.
This site is a community resource brought to you by Di Nola Consulting to help Military Service Members, Veterans, and Military Spouses discover events, resources, and opportunities throughout Moses Lake and the Columbia Basin.
Whether you're transitioning out of service, looking for career opportunities, seeking health and wellness support, or simply want to connect with your community, you'll find it here.
