Submit Your EventFort Buchanan is the only active U.S. Army installation in the Caribbean, located in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. It is home to the 1st Mission Support Command (1st MSC), the largest Army Reserve command in the Caribbean region, and the Antilles Consolidated School System, which serves military families across the island. The installation hosts MWR programs, a golf course, recreational facilities, and community events open to active duty, Reservists, retirees, and their families.
Puerto Rico veterans are also supported by the Caribbean VA Healthcare System in San Juan, the Ponce VA Medical Center, and the Puerto Rico National Guard. The Puerto Rico Veterans Advocate Office coordinates veterans services across the island.
