Submit Your EventFort Belvoir spreads across 8,600 acres along the Potomac in southern Fairfax County, and is less a training post than a headquarters campus — the Defense Intelligence Agency, the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, INSCOM, the Defense Logistics Agency, and Fort Belvoir Community Hospital, which serves the whole National Capital Region. Events listed here take place inside the fence, so base access rules apply and most need a DoD ID, a sponsor, or a visitor pass from Tulley Gate. The National Museum of the United States Army is the deliberate exception: it sits in a publicly accessible area with its own entrance and needs no ID or visitor pass, so events there are listed under the Alexandria hub, where a civilian reader will find them.
