Service Members and Veterans across the Valley are served by the Wasilla VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic (Alaska VA Healthcare System), the Mat-Su Vet Center, an Alaska National Guard armory, and the Alaska Office of Veterans Affairs. Active VFW and American Legion posts serve Veterans across Wasilla, Palmer, Big Lake, Houston, and the broader Matanuska-Susitna Borough.
