Service Members, Veterans, and Military Spouses here are served by the Knoxville Vet Center on Downtown West Boulevard, the Knoxville VA Clinic under the VA Tennessee Valley Healthcare System, and the Knox County Veterans Service Office. Just south of town, McGhee Tyson Air National Guard Base is home to the 134th Air Refueling Wing and the I.G. Brown Training and Education Center, which trains Airmen from across the country.
